Brian Kehoe: “My arm has been my favorite body part since Sonja Kruger wrote her phone number on my bicep in 8th grade :)”

06 mai, 2011

Hey all! Brian Kehoe here, coming to you from Los Angeles on this enjoyable Sunday morning! I grew up 8 hours from here in Reno, NV. It’s a lot smaller than LA and just like your average suburban town in America. Except when you’re hungry and   can go to the casinos downtown and eat at the buffets!

I started modeling in 2001. I actually started taking classes at Barbizon School of Modeling in Sacramento, CA which is 2 hours away from my hometown. The funny story about that, is they had mailed a flyer to my house that was addressed to my sister, but I had checked the mail that day, and something about it sparked an interest in me, so I called and asked if they also allowed boys at their school, and I signed up the next weekend!

Five months later, attending IMTA, is where I signed with Click, my first agency. I had to actually go out and find modeling. I know this this sounds kind of pretentious, but I figured that if I was going to work out and keep in shape anyway, I may as well get paid for it.

My first test shoot turned out great! I really connected with the camera. Seeing my pictures from that shoot for the first time is a feeling I’ll never forget. It never gets old, LOL.

Working with photographers and the funny backstages

I like photographers who are vocal behind the camera, letting me know when they like something, as well as when they don’t. The communication is necessary. Photographers who blast music during a shoot are always more fun to work with, too!

I’ll never forget my first fashion show! I was so nervous! During our first look, my job was to stop halfway down the ramp and step onto this 3 ft. box. that wasn’t very steady. All I kept telling myself was to not fall! But all the nerves of the big lights and it being my first fashion show, I choked under pressure and fell off the  box! Thank God I landed on my feet and didn’t get hurt or anything. But let’s just say everyone was aware that I was the rookie model that day.

Brian by himself

A fashionista?

I’m pretty basic when it comes to my every day clothing. Jeans and a T-shirt with Chuck Taylor’s, or khakis and a polo shirt with some loafers or Sperry Top Siders.

Just imagine u famous model surrounded by a huge crowd!

HaHa. I’v never been mobbed like the Jonas Brothers or anything.Usually somebody will ask to take a picture at the mall, or on the street, and I’ll be happy to do it.

Show biz, Fame, Success….

Show business is exactly that… A show! Most celebrities aren’t as crazy and wild as they portray to the media because they would get burned out very fast. Fame is something that I think all people want at some point or another. I believe if you’re meant to have it, you will. Success for me is to put out solid work that is respected amongst my peers.

Human rights, Freedom of Speech, Wars, Sexual behavior

I’m going to admit that I don’t pay much attention to the news because a lot of it is depressing and negative, and I choose not to subject myself to that. As far as sexual behavior goes, I think too many people, young and old alike, are bringing children into this world when clearly they can’t afford to live themselves. It isn’t fair to the child, and doesn’t contribute to the community in any positive way. A solution I have is to make birth control free. I understand it’s against the Catholic religion, but at the same time I think it’s just as big of a sin to bring a baby into the world that is going to be neglected and not given a fair chance.

Dating X Love

I take life as it comes it to me. And when a girl worthwhile swings by my side, I make the necessary efforts to keep her around :)

Sports

I grew up playing Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Soccer. There are some great pick up basketball games at my gym, and now days that’s the only sport I play.

Atracting someone´s attention

By doing, not talking. If I need to get a girl´s attention, I know that by just being myself and exuding a silent confidence, she’ll usually notice me.

Having fun

My favorite kind of music is house. The past 2 summers, this restaurant/club named XIV, here in Los Angeles, would host the E.C. Twins every Sunday afternoon. They spin some amazing tracks and create the best summer party atmosphere!!! There was a real European energy to this place which I also enjoyed! I can’t wait for Summer to do it all again!

Craziest (nastiest? thing he´s ever done in a summer time season

When I was 9 years old, my neighbor friend Aaron was kind of a bad kid, and talked me into some crazy stuff. One of them was when he told me how cool it would be to squirt gasoline into cool designs, then light them on fire! hahah! It was kind of cool, but my parents didn’t think so…..

Fav body part and why

My arm. It’s been my favorite since Sonja Kruger wrote her phone number on my bicep in 8th grade :)

Fav underwear for his daily activities and for those coooool sexy moments (lol!)

For daily use; Calvin Klein boxer briefs, all colors. When I wanna be a little bit cooler, I’ll throw on my black Armani Exchange briefs.
In his IPOD: One of my favorites is Neil Young. He sings with so much passion. My IPOD is filled with trance/house/dance music to workout to!
Fav food: A banana, split down the middle, with peanut butter inside
